Vitrine Lab is a free course on film distribution aimed at training students and professionals seeking an executive career in the audiovisual industry.

The fifth edition of Vitrine Lab features 12 online modular classes that will take place between October and November 2024, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

After the theoretical classes, up to two spots will be opened for the selection process of the practical module, which consists of a three-month experience with the marketing team of Vitrine Filmes during the year 2025.

The course is funded by resources from the Paulo Gustavo Law, with support from the Federal Government, the Ministry of Culture, the Municipal Department of Culture of the City of São Paulo, and SPCINE. Once again, the course is held in partnership with the Projeto Paradiso.

Vitrine Filmes Group celebrates its 15th anniversary, having released over 200 films and reached more than 5 million viewers. This solid trajectory makes it a pioneering initiative in the curation of Brazilian cinema and a benchmark for audiences. In this masterclass, Silvia Cruz, founder of Vitrine Filmes and creator of the Sessão Vitrine Petrobras, will discuss moments from this journey in a conversation with producer Emilie Lesclaux, from Cinemascópio, the company responsible for major successes by Kleber Mendonça Filho with Vitrine Filmes, such as *O Som ao Redor*, *Aquarius*, *Bacurau*, *Retratos Fantasmas*, and this year's release, *O Agente Secreto*.

Silvia Cruz is a Brazilian producer and distributor. Founder of Vitrine Filmes, a company that is now part of the Vitrine Group, she has released over 200 films, reaching 5 million viewers over 15 years. The Group currently includes the labels Vitrine Filmes, Sessão Vitrine, Manequim, Vitrine Filmes Spain, and Vitrine Lab.


Emilie Lesclaux

Emilie was born in France and founded CinemaScópio in 2008 alongside Kleber Mendonça Filho. She has produced six short films, ten feature films, and the original series Delegado, accumulating over 250 awards. She has directed four films in the Official Selection at Cannes: Aquarius (2016), Bacurau (2019, Jury Prize), Ghost Portraits (2023), and The Secret Agent (2025, Best Director, Best Actor, and FIPRESCI Prize). In 2023, Heartless went to Venice, and in 2024, Sleeping with Eyes Open won the FIPRESCI Prize in Berlin. Emilie also directs the Janela Internacional de Cinema do Recife (Recife International Film Festival).
